 I’m Brian Cole, and I proudly serve as a State Representative in the New Hampshire House. I’m also a lifelong Granite Stater, a small business owner for over 25 years, and someone who believes in showing up, working hard, and always putting people first.

My journey in public service started the same way I built my business from the ground up. As the CEO of JC International, a wholesale distributor and importer/exporter, I’ve created jobs, managed a payroll, and navigated the challenges that many small businesses face. That real-world experience shapes everything I do in Concord.

In the State House, I currently serve as Vice Chair of the Housing Committee, where I work on practical solutions to our state’s housing issues like zoning, condo regulation, and housing affordability. I also serve on the Ways and Means Committee, where I help review tax policy and fight to keep New Hampshire affordable for working families and small businesses.

Beyond that, I’ve had the honor to serve on several statewide boards and commissions, including:

• The Business Finance Authority Board
   
• The Family Medical Leave Review Board
   
• The NH Canadian Trade Council
   
• The State Park Advisory Council
   
• And the Speaker’s Steering Committee, helping shape legislative priorities
   

In my first term, I served on the Commerce and Consumer Affairs Committee, where I worked on policy related to insurance, banking, liquor control, and consumer protection.

I’ve also been proud to serve the local Republican Party in Manchester as Vice Chair, Chair, and eventually Chair Emeritus of the Manchester Republican Committee. Under my leadership, we won Manchester and expanded our Republican majority in Concord proof that grassroots work truly matters.

I earned my degree in Economics and Finance and an Associate’s degree in Accounting from Southern New Hampshire University, which gave me a strong foundation for both business and public policy work.

At the end of the day, I’m just someone who believes in doing the right thing, listening more than I talk, and making decisions based on what’s best for the people I represent. Whether I’m at the State House or in the community, I never forget who sent me there or why I do this work.
